Great River Hydro, LLC (formerly TransCanada Hydro Northeast Inc.) has been relicensing three hydroelectric projects on the Connecticut River since 2012.
Wilder, Bellows Falls, and Vernon are using the Federal Regulatory Commission’s Integrated Licensing Process. This website provides information about the relicensing process, access to public documents, and details about each project, public participation, communication plans, and meetings.

The Wilder Project, FERC No. 1892, is located on the Connecticut River at river mile 217.4 and extends upstream approximately 46 miles. The dam and powerhouse is approximately 1.5 miles upstream of the White River and approximately 7 miles downstream of the Ompompanoosuc River.

The Bellows Falls Project, FERC No. 1855, is located on the Connecticut River at river mile 173.7 and extends upstream approximately 26 miles. The dam and powerhouse is approximately 1 mile upstream of the Saxtons River and 3 miles downstream of the Williams River.

The Vernon Project, FERC No. 1904, is located on the Connecticut River at river mile 141.9 and extends upstream approximately 26 miles. The dam and powerhouse is approximately 2 miles upstream of the Ashuelot River and 7.4 miles downstream of the West River.
